WARRANTY

General information:

Please read through the description of the item to gain a thorough understanding of the item specifications, compatibility, price and shipping terms before placing an order. If you are have any questions, feel free to contact us.

VeeDeeDirect.com offers a 6 month warranty on electronic devices unless specified otherwise. Accessories, such as batteries and headsets are covered by a 3 month warranty. Our warranty covers technical problems such as screen issue, motherboard damage and malfunctioning buttons.

Technical Issues:

If you experience a technical problem with an item within 30 days of its arrival, we will replace the item or offer a full refund. Upon arrival of your product at our facility, we must confirm the defect before proceeding to a refund or a replacement. We are unable to issue refunds for products beyond the 30 day time frame.

Non-Technical Issues:

You may return an item for non-technical issues within 7 days of its arrival. We offer a 7 days, No Questions asked, 100% Money Back Guarantee on all VeeDee branded products. 

We beleive that 7 days is sufficient to judge if you like the product or not. If any product is returned later than 7 days, we normally do not refund.  However if we do offer a refund in exceptional cases, a re-stocking fee may apply.  We pay certain charges to payment gateway and towards shipping and re-selling the product which we need to recover. These may vary from 15% to 90% depending on when the return is received.

What is considered a technical issue?

Screen issue, motherboard damage, malfunctioning buttons

Please note: 

 

  • Firmware/software does not fall under that category;
  • Physical damage or modifications done to an item will void the warranty;
  • Any product returned with any type of physical (cosmetic) damage will be subject to 20% restocking fee of the full amount.

 

DOA (Dead on Arrival):

We do perform QC (quality control) on all devices and test them thoroughly before they ship. While DOA devices are rare, they can still occur. We will pay a Rs.100/- credit (to compensate the return shipping fees) for a DOA sent back for repair or exchange. The Rs.100/- credit does not apply to items being shipped back for a refund. Upon arrival of your product at our facility, we will confirm the DOA and then process refund if applicable.

What is a DOA?

A DOA is a product that does not power on, hence the term Dead on Arrival. We must be notified within 48 hours about a DOA product in order to apply the Rs.100/- credit policy.

How to return an item for repair/replacement or refund:

For repair/replacement:

For replacement, securely pack and seal the return merchandise in an appropriate box or envelope. For repairs, ship the device without the accessories and without the original box. Securely pack and seal the return merchandise in an appropriate box or envelope, and send it back to us. 

**When we ship back your product, we ship it via regular mail. We can ship it back by Express shipping at your request, you will need to pay the difference between the express shipping and the regular mail shipping.**

For refund:

If the product is being sent back for a refund, please return it in the original box with accessories. Any accessories missing will be deducted from the total amount paid. Send it back using a regular mail shipping service such as your national mail courier. We will wait upon the arrival of the product before refunding the purchase. You are responsible for the shipping cost when shipping the product back to us.

In the event that a refund is issued over the 30 day time frame, the restocking fee will apply to the current value of the item excluding the shipping fees.
 

Missing accessories:

Packages are checked thoroughly before they are shipped out. An item checklist is performed to ensure that the orders are complete. If ever an item is missing, please notify us within 24 hours of the package arrival with a photo picture of the box content. We will proceed to send you the missing item back by air mail.

Please make sure to get an RMA# or speak with a customer service representative before returning an item. Otherwise the pacakge will not be accepted and returned to sender.

 

Obsolescence

 

In the event of obsolescence of a product or any other reason whatsoever, if VeeDee is not able to repair/replace the product during the warranty period, VeeDee will have the option to offer a product with equivalent features or give compensation based on the depreciation of the product. The decision of VeeDee in this regard shall be final. For the purposes of compensation, depreciation will be considered as below:

 

•Three months or part thereof 30%

 

•Between Three months and Six months 60%

 

•Between Six months and Nine months 80%

 

•Between Nine Months and Twelve Months 90%
